What is Agata Hexe Studio?
An independent software studio that builds focused, honest apps for Mac, iOS and Android — engineered end-to-end from Germany, on a system we designed first. Each app solves one problem clearly; if we can't explain it in a sentence, it doesn't ship.
Who is behind it?
The studio is led by Nicolás Lipko — based in Germany. It's a small, focused operation by design; it's built to scale without bloating, and roles open deliberately as the roadmap needs them.
What makes it different?
We build software that works for you, not on you: local when possible, honest by architecture, and never behind a dark pattern. No fake scarcity, no misleading buttons, no churn tricks. If an app doesn't help, you can ask for a refund.
Is this sustainable — will the apps still be here next year?
It's a portfolio, not a moonshot: independent, founder-led, with several apps already live and more shipping. Each app stands on its own, so no single bet decides whether the studio survives.
What does 'built on a system' mean for me as a user?
Every app is built on one internal framework, so quality is consistent and every release is audited (automated tests + screenshot evidence) before it reaches you. AI drafts; the studio audits — you get software that's checked, not just generated.
Are the apps free or paid?
Most apps are a one-time purchase — you pay once and own that version. The exception is Osiris Focus, which is free to use, with an optional monthly premium that removes ads and unlocks extra features. Some apps are freemium: a lot is free, and a one-time payment unlocks the rest.
Do you have subscriptions?
Only where the value is continuous. Today that's Osiris Focus premium (a monthly plan). The desktop apps are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.
How do I buy an app?
Each app is sold in exactly one place — we don't list the same app in two stores. Argus Capture is on the Mac App Store; the other apps are bought directly here on our site. The buy button opens Paddle, our payment provider, which shows the final price with your local tax.
Why does the price only show at checkout?
Paddle is our Merchant of Record and localizes the price and tax to your country. Rather than show a number that would be wrong for most people, the price appears when you open checkout — accurate for where you are.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — the paid desktop apps include a free trial, and you don't need an account to try them. The exact trial length is shown on each app's page.
Osiris Focus says 'Free to Start' — what does that mean?
You can use Osiris Focus for free. An optional monthly premium removes ads and unlocks extra features. There's no trial to expire — the free tier stays free.
What happens after I buy?
You get a license key by email. Open the app, go to Settings → General → License, and enter your email and the key. That's it — the app activates.
Do I need to create an account?
No. None of our apps require an account. You activate with your email and license key; nothing to sign up for.
Can I use one license on more than one machine?
A license is one seat — one machine at a time. To move to a new computer, deactivate it on the old machine to free the seat, then activate it on the new one.
I lost my license key — how do I get it back?
You can recover it by email from your account, or ask us and we'll resend it to the email you purchased with. Your local app data stays on your device the whole time.
Which platforms do you support?
Our apps run on macOS, iOS and Android. There's no Windows or Linux version right now. The only web product is Agata Hexe Support (below).
Can I get a refund?
Yes. For purchases on our website you have a 14-day self-service refund (the EU withdrawal right) — no email, no hoops. The refund deactivates the license, and funds typically reach your card in about 5–10 business days.
I bought on the App Store — how do I refund?
App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google. Request the refund through their store; we can't process those on our side.
What data do you collect?
As little as possible. The desktop apps are local-first: your data stays on your machine and only license verification is remote. We use no behavioral-tracking SDKs, and Paddle handles payments, so we never see your card details. We're an EU (Germany) controller under GDPR.
Do the apps work offline?
Yes — the local-first apps work fully offline; they only reach out to verify the license. Osiris Focus also works fully offline.
Does Osiris Focus track me?
Any analytics or ads in Osiris Focus are gated behind a consent banner and off by default until you agree. It works fully offline regardless.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. From your account you can export your record as a file, and 'Delete account' really removes your email and license records from our servers (one click, no retention tricks). Your local app data stays on your device — it's yours to keep or wipe there.
What are the Programs (Beta, Press, Catalyst)?
Ways to get a license in exchange for value. Beta: test the apps and report what you find, and earn free months. Press: get a full review license and keep it by publishing coverage. Catalyst: promote the apps and earn a flat 25% on the sales you bring in. We read and approve applicants by hand.
How do I get help or report a bug?
Write to us via the contact page — every message reaches a real inbox. When you send a support question, our own support engine gives you a first-line answer by email; if it doesn't fully solve it, just reply and a person takes over.
What is Agata Hexe Support?
Our web product for creators and small teams: a support-and-moderation engine that auto-answers repetitive questions (email, chat, DMs) and moderates your channels — scripts first, AI only as a safety net — so you only handle the exceptions. It's EU-ready (DSA + GDPR).
What is Identität?
A free web tool to design your identity as rituals and checklists — pick the domains that matter, generate a card, print it, and place it where the habit happens. It works on its own (print and log by hand); the companion apps are optional add-ons.
